Key responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of AI monitoring systems for AI training and deployment.
Improve frameworks that process large volumes of unstructured text and develop AI integrations for investigations and actions.
Set team priorities with researchers and safety teams based on their analytical needs.
Coach reports, lead recruiting, and create processes that help the team work effectively.
Qualifications needed

At least two years of management experience and five or more years of software engineering experience with meaningful exposure to machine learning systems.
Experience with large language model application development, including context engineering, evaluation, and orchestration.
Experience building tools for others, with attention to user experience, reliability, and documentation.
Preferred: Experience in AI safety, alignment, responsible deployment, data science, large scale data processing, monitoring systems, observability, or developer platforms.
