### Key responsibilities

- Write and maintain software that connects machine learning accelerators to high speed networks.
- Diagnose and optimize distributed software and network issues at OSI model layers 2 to 4.
- Build higher level abstractions such as collectives and RPC for networked systems.
- Develop and benchmark network software, including tensor movement, collective algorithms, and congestion control.

### Qualifications needed

- You have expert proficiency with network protocols, TCP/IP stack internals, XDP, eBPF, io_uring, epoll, DPDK, RDMA, and kernel bypass techniques.
- You have strong systems programming skills, including memory management, lock free data structures, NUMA aware programming, and performance optimization.
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.
- You must work from one of the offices at least 25 percent of the time.
