### Qualifications needed

- PhD in chemistry and demonstrated medicinal chemistry experience with recent, sustained hands-on small molecule synthesis.
- Experience with SAR-driven small molecule design and optimization.
- Ability to work independently, define problems, and work across research teams in an evolving environment.
- Preferred: Five or more years of medicinal chemistry experience beyond the PhD, including hit identification through lead optimization.
